Pacific - first photo impressions

piter,
great pics as usual
what would you say which knife handles better, the old neil roberts or the new pacific?

cheers
Arne

Is it a great knife for a hunter like the one piece knife concept (shadow, sable,...)too ?

For me pacific is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST in the Reeve / Harsey series

As I was looking at your pictures (which are great, by the way), I was thinking how this knife compared to say a Mountaineer II. The only CRK fixed blade I have is the Mountaineer I. I took to it like a baby to milk.

Thanks for the pictures.
:)

Hunter? Well, it depends. I've seen a movie once...

Officer: and... what do you hunt with a knife?
J.R.: ANYTHING

in this terms - yes, it is an excellent hunter :D ;)

Hi everyone, first post! As a longtime fan of Chris's knives ( and Chris ) The Pacific is the first knife I have bought in a long time. I have most of the one piece line and an early first run Sebenza. I have to say this knife is just RIGHT! everthing about it is perfect, balance, grip, feel, grind, I usually have a little buyers remose after an impulse knife buy, but the more I handle this thing, the more I am in love with it. I think it will replace my old S.A. 7" Shadow in my pack that I have carried for many years.

The dealer at the show where i purchased also had the Yarbourogh (?) and it was really tempting, but this Pacific.... WOW, go pick one up, you probably will be 309.00 light before you put it down.

I think I may look into the optional leather sheath... just because I really like the look.

this will definatly be a user, not a safe queen like a lot of my knives have become.

Very nice pics. Nice knife.

This is one I may have to pick up. My 7" GB has been a safe queen, but the Pacific...

Thanks for the pics.

And I thought wating for mine was bad before seeing the pics.

Now I'm going to sulk until it gets here.

Mine has been the same. I've often thought of selling or trading for a Neil Roberts, as my 7" GB is a little larger than necessary for most of my travels. However, this Pacific is one hell of a nice looking knife. Might just push me over the edge.

Nice logo....just sold my 111G....miss it already...still have a 252 and a 113 though...

Oh, nice knife btw...and great pix too!
