OK all you Spyderco Salt Series sabre grind lovers, here's your chance to snag a perpetually out-of-stock Pacific Salt plain edge in H-1 with the tougher, stronger sabre grind; it is LNIB*
I have far too many folders and too many of them are Spyderco - especially Salt Series. Some have to go so the users are being kept and the BNIB and the safe queens, such as this LNIB* Pacific Salt are on the block.
This one is LNIB with an asterisk (*) because while it has never been used, I did carry it a few days on a trip to Bimini. My old faithful "user" serrated Pacific Salt was in one pocket (still getting all the use) while this was also carried but in the other pocket - but not used. However, the paint on the clip does show slight evidence of the short carry time; hence the (*). I tried to take a close of up the marks on the clip and would be happy to provide more pictures if that was of particular concern to anyone.
The Pacific 2 models, which are also great but have FFG which is plenty slicey but, IMHO, not as strong as the sabre grind used by Salts, Enduras and the like for years.
I'm a perpetual sucker for Cold Steel (especially Master Hunter, Pendleton and Drop Forged Hunter), Emerson, Becker, some partially serrated folders.
