Looks like Alton Brown was using one on his "Feasting on Waves" series on the Food Network, installment #4.

I have a plain edge one with a yellow handle and have carried for over a year. It has been a good back pocket knife.

Sorry to say, but this knife pretty much got me out of collecting more knives because it fits my EDC needs so perfectly. I've always had it with me (PE, black handle) for over a year and it is everything I could ask for in a pocket knife. A Pacific Salt, plus a Sharpmaker, and you are pretty much set forever imho :).

Yeah, I got it with the Yellow Handles as well.

I received it today actually. I kinda like it, I only got to play with it for a minute, then I had to get ready for bed. I got the PE version as well.

Has anyone had any problems with the pocket clip becoming loose because of the lack of steel liners and because of the fact that its held on with a bolt-type thing?

Here's a thread where I did some quick mini-reviews of several knives (including a few different Spyderco folders)....I covered the Pacific Salt in post #20....

And here's a few threads where I did some "testing" of sorts....one of the test subjects was a Spyderco Rescue (which is similar to the Pacific Salt in construction)....

I hope these are helpful (or at least entertaining),
