I just got a pacific salt over the weekend and havent been able to play with it because of an injury but today I busted it out and I love this knife I usually like the g10 models but since it's a water proof knife I don't mind the frn I also like how it has torx screws and love the bigger size hole makes it easy to open anyone els love this knife?

I picked one up pretty cheap a few years ago. I carry it sometimes in rotation but I do really like it. I actually prefer the shape and grip to the Endura series. Love the light weight an no liners. Perfect for EDC.

I carried one at work every day for a couple of years. Sadly I lost it. Actually, I think I set it down and it grew legs.

I love the Salt series. I picked up a PE Yellow PacSalt in late 2008. It hasn't been continuously carried, as I have too many knives and like to rotate. However, it is surely one of my most carried knives, and sees the most use as a garden knife. I clean out the pivot after it is used, touch it up, and that's really about it. Also, since most of my EDC consists of slipjoints (personal preference), the fact that I carry it at all is a testament to how much I love it.

I just ordered a serrated Salt 1 today.
I think the size will be perfect for fishing and beach days.

I just got mine in the mail about 5 minutes ago. I already own a Tasman SE, and love the steel. Wanted to try H1 in PE.........

The Pacific Salt is one my go to carry knife when I go fishing. I have the plain edge and the fully serrated, both in yellow handles. The serrated is the newer of the 2 as I have only had it for about 2 years. I purchased the plain edge shortly after they came out and it has been used to cut bait, line and just about everything else including the gills of salmon. I plan on carrying both this year when I go fishing. What I love the most about these knives is the low maintenance. Here is a picture of my plain edge.
