So, I wasn't a member when you guys did the RAT pack knife thing. I was just wondering if there was any chance of doing something similar in the future. I really hope there is.
 
the chances of that absolutely zero, it was such a hassle for the first they will most likely never do one again.
 
I tried to search it before I posted. I didn't find anything. Something different but similar would be really cool. I'm sure people here would really like it!
 
Man, that was such a pain in the balls for Jeff, the Shottys, everyone, that I seriously doubt that Jeff would go for it even if Mrs. Shotty wanted to take another beating. . .



. . .Although an RP Junglas would be nice. . .:D

It was a pain in the ass but that doesn't mean that we wouldn't suffer more punishment in the future. We'll see.
 
wow, after reading this.. now im very curious at how can it be such a bad experience.. and will have to dig deeply in the forums to find some answers like why in the world would it be that complicated... My guts tell me that most probably you had a hard time getting the money from people who reserved a Rat Pack Knife..

I wasnt around cose I would have jumped on that train ..

i am a perfect customer,

1) 99,8% of the time I shutup and wait for my order without asking a million time to the dealer "is it ready?" "when will I get it?"

2) Impulsive buyer and knives addict

3) Truck load of money available to spend on pleasure and mostly bushcraft gear!

I was an ESEE newbie during the last one, but I remember the horror! :D

The biggest problem with the project was that people didn't READ THE RULES (i hurp every time I have to type that!). Some of the problems you'll never find on a search b/c it was via email.
 
it was... an experience. can't imagine it going easier next time around. we've grown quite a bit since october... but, if you folks really want the headache, i'll do my best to get in on it.
