I have been looking for a "long" backpack. I am 6'4" tall with a 32" inseam...this leaves me with a long torso. Currently, my daypack is a Kelty Redwing with a 20" torso length which puts the waist strap right across just under my breast bone. Judging by that, I would guess I would need something in the 26"-28" torso fit range, and I haven't come across anything like that....I was hoping somebody here might have. I guess I could drive up to Boulder and see if Kelty would make me a custom pack for less than my first born child, but I thought I would try this first.:)

Im 6'4" but my inseam is well, a little more than 32" Right now I am using a MEC Brio 50 long. It fits better than any pack I have ever tried on, even the more expencive Arcterx and North face packs. For $109 CAN and the $5 membership youll need for the store I dont think you could find a better pack. Give them a call, they are very reasonable when It comes to shipping to the US and even Overseas.

The Brio 40 is also a great pack in the same lenght but smaller volume

Drive over to Golden and check out Kifaru. Very good stuff but pricey. They will make them to fit.
