Tknife said it best is another post, "I am so impressed with the resident knifemakers we have here, some really talented guys! Andy (Fiddleback)does fine work! He got a beautiful piece of ironwood, so I had to get the matching firesteel too. Fit and finish is excellent all around. I can't wait to get it out there and use it!"

My Nessmuk is wearing a Masur Birch handle both on the knife and FirSteel. This is a wonderful little wood bumming kit.

Thanks Andy.

Playing around in the woods and not really doing much, maybe I should go back an edit the post?

Thanks. There's no need to edit the post, but a bum in the UK is what you put on a chair when you sit down. As for "bumming" ...... let's not go there.
Seriously, the knife is a beauty. Can you give some info on dimensions, please.

Man, its great to hear y'all are happy with the knives. That birch is a dream wood to work with. Its all gorgeous the whole time, then you put the oil on it, and BAM. Fantastic stuff.

Glad you like it bro!

Myakka, your set is rockin' too! I was using mine in the kitchen a little bit yesterday, and it's a slicing demon. ANd just something about the matching steel and scales, incredible!
