I have had a similar thought.
Maybe it would make a good forum project to put together a few pages or cards to be included in a survival kit.

Hey, that's an excellent idea. Some basic info, and then a couple of chapters that one can keep or discard, depending on one's environment and skills. Everyone can then customize and print their own versions.
