I’ll try to shoot some pics tonight or in the morning. Tomorrow night, I leave for a Winter trek with Ken( KGD) and my cousin Scott(Canoeguy).

Hey rick, I remember a couple years ago when you posted the drawing of how to build your annorack. Can you post that again, and if I ask nice will you make one for me of if I pay?

Here is my original pattern.

My cousin makes an improved Anorak that I now use, as well...

Here is a link to a thread he did on another site... http://bushcraftusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11778&highlight=Capote

Where you going trekking?
And why didn't you tell me about it (you make one little thread about emergency cannibalism...:D)

Thanks brother, I appreciate it. My girlfriend can't sow, any chance you will be making and selling these?

My cousin would be the one making them. I don't do it anymore. I'll ask him if he is planning to do a few this winter.

great stuff Rick.. i would love to see some pics of this kit.. i like the looks of those anoraks.. i bet they're cozy..

Cool, thanks. I'll save the list on my puter to update\change my stuff. I'm taking all of this a little more seriously now, than in the past.

Rick, strangely enogh I am interested in one of your cousings Anoraks, not that I fear that we will get any snow around here, but I am planning to hike in the US, besides it just look plain cool.
Keep me posted on how to get in contact with him.
Thanks + Regards

What is the "wussy sack" you mention? Never heard of one of those.

I think it (wussy sack) is where some people put their "snivel gear". You know, the stuff that isn't essential for existence survival, but that keeps up spirits and morale. Like tissues, toilet paper, hygiene and shaving kit. Or even non-perishable food stuffs like powdered creamer, salt, pepper, hot sauce...

All those things that helps to keep one in a positive frame of mind, long after SHTF and the smoke cleared. Like when the only thing on the horizon are vultures. :O

Oh and these can also be great barter items after TEOTWAWKI... :)
