I've noticed that a lot of y'all carry two (or sometimes more) knives at a a time as EDC. I'm not judging or being critical in any way (truly not my intention) but I am curious as to why you would need more than one folder? It is for different blade styles for different applications? Or is it for a backup in case your primary knife is lost somehow?
Don't get me wrong, I own quite a few knives but only ever carry one at a time. carrying two at a time may elimate the predicament of waking up every morning and debating which knife to take with me for the day (lately it's been between my ZT 0300 and my Emerson CQC-15).
I completely understand why some (myself included) carry two or more knives. What's not so clear to me is why some people rock two or more flashlights. At most, I probably use or need a flashlight once or twice a week. That's why I can't justify spending 60 or 70 bucks on a nice little Fenix or something. I always reason that I'd rather spend that money on/towards another knife. I get that others have jobs, tasks/chores, hobbies, etc. that necessitate pocket-size lights, but why more than one? If one of the possible reasons is for back-up in case of batteries dying, wouldn't it be easier and lighter to just carry spare batteries?
Not making fun of you guys; just thought that it would be fun to continue the tradition

The question is:
What two (or more) guns do you carry on yourselves and when?
