Kershaw's latest offering, the Packrat (1665) has left the building.

It's a sweet Ken Onion AO design, 14C28N Sandvik steel, black G-10 scales (tip up/down, sorry lefties). Made in the USA. MSRP $89.95

A few images for you:

Hm, that's an interesting blade shape. Might have to pick one up after I get a Zing.

Edit: Also, the white balance in those pics seems to be off.

Well, it's a Ken Onion design, of course it's a beautiful knife. :)

A slightly larger version would be one of the all-time greatest fighting folders. (Yeah, I know, unrealistic scenario, but it would.)

Looks good Thomas. Will all the blades come out stamped with the Kershaw speed safe logo or just the first 500. If it is just the first 500 I will wait until those are gone and just by a plain blade(I hate how bad stuff like that looks once it starts to wear off.)

hehe. so buy one now. and then one later and use that one :).

nice thomas can't wait for this one either.

I guess I'm going to have to remind Ken O. that I'm a "lefty", so maybe he will quit designing those "righty-only" folders. There actually are still a few of us "leftys" in this world, and most of us take offence to being left out.:D.

What's up. Dann, do I have to fly out there and rap you on the knuckles to make you use the right hand !?

HAHAHAHA...Heck, the only reason why I even still have a right hand (wrist), is so that I have a place to strap my watch to.
BTW...I guess it is a good thing that I didn't have to go to Catholic school, as I'm sure that the penguins (Nuns) there would have beat my knuckles to pieces with their darn wooden rulers.:D.:D.

That's interesting--these blades have "speedsafe" instead of Ken Onion underneath the Kershaw logo...

The blade is like a reverse recurve--I wonder how it'd EDC.

You're throwin' out great stuff Thomas!

Now, now, Esav, Ken designs tools, not weapons. Tsk, tsk. ;)
