Large ebony paddle strops, just over 15" in length and just under 2.5" wide and approx. 3/4" thick overall. Wood was cut / ripped to size, handle was cut to shape then beveled using a router. Each side was branded, one fine and the other coarse. The wood was leveled dead flat which is important then taped off and two coats of dark ebony stain were added then buffed, multiple coats of clear / shellac were sprayed on sanding between each coat. Leather is a grade A European veg tan hide from a full side of leather, has a nice firm yet very fine/smooth nap. Each strop has a black 550 paracord lanyard with plastic end cap.
I made these to be used with any bar type compounds wax/grease or tallow based. Also the nap is fine enough you can use diamond spray on it as well. If you need bar compounds or diamond spray feel free to message me.
