Paddle Strops
These strops measure 15 3/4"L x 2.5"W x .75H. All strops I make are leveled dead flat, I use the cleanest leather I can get (cut from full hides) and make each strop to last. These have two coats of gunstock stain followed by three coats shellac and two lacquer. Leather is flesh or suede side up both sides for use with traditional type bar compounds, each side of the handle is branded coarse/fine before stain and clear are added. The leather is a European veg tan around 8oz, has a nice fine nap and dense feel (will take most any bar type compounds). Each strop comes with a 550 paracord lanyard and plastic end cap.
