Proto EDC Blades. These knives make for awesome field knives. Nice, double cut finish. Built rugged like all Busses, these two patterns will find a favorite spot on your belt or in your pack. 3/16" INFI.

Any history or info on this knife?

It is to be my first Busse.

I looked through Bad Mojo and did not see anything about this style; or maybe I just overlooked it.
 
However, I do know that I was looking hard at that drop point. It came down to that (a knife in my price range) and the Jungle proto NO (out of my price range). My first Busse had to be the NO, my favorite Busse, but, boy do I like that drop point . . . . No Regrets eh.

Good choice I hope you enjoy it and get the info you are looking for.

The drop point Proto EDC arrived Saturday. This one has green linen micarta scales with some outstanding detail. Two thumbs up!
 
My two EDC Proto's arrived today and I'm so thrilled. I've already promised them as gifts to others but I will get a bit of time to admire and caress. Thanks Jerry for all the Extravaganza knives I've won the right to purchase. Worth it and more!

I received mine on Tuesday, it has black canvas micarta handles. Here is a comparison picture.......
 
Not so big on the handle, but I really like the blade shape. Marry it with the AD handle, bring the micarta a bit forward, and you've got a winner. How do the different handles actually feel?
