Well, theres good news and bad news.
the wife just printed up my new work order, its 12 pages long!

Last June it was only five. That equates to a 8 week wait right now.
I've been working over some things that I hope will allow quicker turn around times, without sacrificing quality. Things I wont do: sewing machine :barf: Those things are the worst thing to happen to leathercraft, one stitch gets cut and the whole thing unravels.

I wont lessen the finish, I like smooooth edges.
I've already got a belt/disk sander, the BEST investment I've ever done! No more tennis elbow from all that hand sanding!

That think saves me soooo much time and effort and it also makes sure the edges are square. The drill press is my best friend too, after I figured out how to keep the holes on the back at least resonably straight that is. Theres a lot of flex in a drill bit btw, a shocking amount. Safety glasses are a must, I've broken bits and the pieces went flying.
Wonder if there is something out there to help polish the edges? Anyone got any ideas? I've got a bench grinder, anyone know of a nifty attatchment?
or any other ideas?
