pain in the back

aliloff,
I feel your pain. Have several bulges, chips, growths...longtime abuse, the early years were fun though :). Goes up and down. I could be better about a lot of stuff but it is what it is and I treat as it goes.

Qiuck story:
Wife...2 big bulges...they wanted to operate and fuse, she couldn't walk. We went a different route. Take a look at a Vax-D machine. There are newer models out there, they decompress the disc and suck it back in. It got her back 80%. Insurance doesn't cover it usually but things may have changed.
Chiropractic as the Vax-D eased the pain and swelling allowing adjustments. Message theropy and tissue work and realignment...active release theropy. Add some accupuncture. A lot of work.....but she is 90% back to normal...still have to watch yourself, find the right exercises to build the little muscles in the back areas that get weak...loose weight. It is a lot of work and a lifestyle change but it is not surgery....and its been over 10 years for her and she is no fantic at taking care of it....except when it sparks up.

Just something to think about and explore.
