greetings all,
has anyone had luck painting any frn scales? if so, what did you use for the paint. have an old endure in black that would like to try a desert sand paint on. thanks and best regards to all.

I think some people have had success with RIT dye. I have no personal experience with this.

I'm not speaking from experience but I doubt anything classified as "paint" is going to be able to withstand even the gentle wear and tear of being held in the hand and sliding into and out of pockets. You might be able to get the scales Cerakoted, though I don't know how well, or even if at all, Cerakote will adhere to FRN. Of course, you could get the Endura new scales in a desert tan material from a customiser but I have a feeling that if you are asking about paint, you are not looking to spend much money.
