One of our members ordered a matched set of Backups, clippoint and wharncliff, in black micarta. He plans on carrying them in black pocket sheaths. This is the first set like this I`ve done, and the first Backup I`ve done in micarta in a long time. Here they are.

Your right. I havent seen a HB in micarta from ya in awhile.... Somethin about the HB. I guess cause it was my first from ya, I like em so much.

From the angle of the camera, they look like they are different lengths, but they are the same. The spots on the handles are from the freezing rain we are getting today.

This is only the second wharncliff Backup ever made. Most guys don`t like wharncliff blades, but I do.

I love em. I always have. When I was a boy my dad carried a Sheepsfoot slippy, and man, I have memories of that knife. I find they are great utility knives, and make awesome Shroom huntin blades.:thumbup:

Those are very nice, I also am liking that wharny. They look great in black micarta.

I would have never guessed. ;) Here is my favorite wharny pic, courtesy of bearthedog. It`s an early model, you can tell by the location of the "K"

Don't look now but it's snowing pretty hard now. You should have a pretty white blanket to take pictures of outside now.

Very nice knives. I'm really jealous of the guy getting them.
