Today I’d like to offer up two recently finished pieces. I had a minute or two between two other custom orders and decided to finish make these quick and simple pieces. Both knives are made from 1084 steel. Overall length on both is 8.5” with 4” being the cutting edge and are 0.140” thick at the bolster. Both blades have been edge quenched and have a quench line, but are not etched to show it. If you shine them in the light a little, you can clearly see them. Because my elk piece was so popular last time, I decided to give that a shot again, but this time, I used sambar stag scales. Both have beautiful sets of sambar stag scales on top of polished brass bolsters with matching brass pins. The stag is much denser and much more solid than elk, so they provide a much more solid hold in the hand. As usual, the edges are very slightly rounded and then polished to provide a smooth feel in the hand. Both come with lined leather sheaths.

I don’t usually do pairs of knives, but I made two anticipating I would screw one up. Thankfully I didn’t and I was able to finish both up with stag to match thanks to a good friend.

Asking $185 USD Each + $8 USD shipping anywhere in the USA. I'll ship international as well, but rates vary. My PayPal email is:
