Kit Carson Large Model 4 tactical: This M4 was made for me in the early 90's. It was carried until I got the next custom Carson (See Below). This large Model 4 featured a ceramic bead blast finish blade, fine bead blast titanium bolsters, dual thumb studs and G10 scales, Stainless steel clip, and Notched thumb ramp. It has a very smooth action, with perfect blade seating, detent, and lockup. The blade is 4" with an overall length of 9.375" and weighs 6.2oz. I think the blade is 420V. This was carried primarily intended for self defense and kept sharp. Note, this originally had my name engraved which I have removed (you can see how well I did in the photo below and with the associated link to see more photos. I also disassembled and cleaned the knife in the last few days. If you are looking for a great EDC knife with self defense in mind, it's a good one to have, the blade has great cutting geometry. Price $375 shipping included (Pending, but will accept backup offers)

Early Kit Carson Custom Model 4: I had Kit make this knife for me in the early 90's; it was the second of two he made for me and, both were among the first custom knives I purchased. I believe it is a large frame model 4. The Blade is ladder pattern Damascus as are the bolsters. The scales are very nice color mammoth. The liners are titanium with a sort of bluish hue. It has ambidextrous thumb studs. I carried this knife briefly in the 90's, but it might be hard to tell. It is a solid knife, with heft, smooth opening and has a great lockup with virtually no play. It has been sharpened and is razor sharp. The blade is 4, overall length of 9.375" and weighs 6.2oz. If you want a dressed, well designed tactical knife for EDC, this is the knife, or you can keep in your collection. This was carried primarily intended for self defense and kept very sharp. It was retired to be displayed in my collection in the mid-90's. This knife is hard to part with, but I am liquidating much of my knife collection to finance a new consuming hobby; building bamboo rods using old Master's tapers. Sold

I included a lot of photos in the link so folks can get an idea of their condition. I would entertain a 'package' offer.

I am sorry, I am still getting my feet wet on this site and didn't see your message. It didn't get sent to my e-mail for some reason so I missed it. Sorry, the knife did sell.

Just for your information, I have over 70 knives, a large number of them I will be putting up for sale to fund acquiring equipment for making custom bamboo fly rods, a new passion of mine. You can see a few of them at https://sites.google.com/site/rkaknifecollection/home/photo-albums and will see more as I get the photos and write ups done. That site shows the photos, but any I sell will be listed here with links to that site. A few of these already can be seen under my user name in a single post that list several along with prices at this site. I have a range from high end collectibles to some desirable discontinued production knives. In the next few days I will be individually listing knives with thumbnails as I can.

I have a couple on Ebay, early ATCK's under the same user name and if they don't sell, I will be listing them on bladeforums.com.
