I have two Mashed Cat Outfitters kydex sheaths for the Scrap Yard Scrapivore. Both black, one has a spot that got hot when I adjusted retention and the other is exactly as it came never used just stored. I ended up making a leather back pocket sheath for my knife. The heat applied only resulted in a shiny spot and nothing else.
