I was told by spyderco that the acid etch voids the warranty. I would take the para 3, if the warranty wasn’t voided

Taking them apart to clean them voids warranty.. changing clips voids warranty.. doesn't mean they won't stand behind their product.

No worries, you won’t be hard pressed to find some factory ones they’re still floating around in some abundance. Thx!
