I love those!!! Thin and mean!
I like everything, the tang flush with the front of the handle and at the same time minimal backsquare stickout in the closed position...geometry wizardy!

Don, if you don't mind i'm interested in the steel's finish.
From the pictures it looks like a bit dark grey (and beautiful), i ask since i also work on carbon steel and i wonder how to handle the parts to be installed and if i should leave it or not the oxides also inside, in the walk surfaces.
What is your method to remove the excess oxides after etching?

Stezann, these blades aren't etched, just a hand rubbed 400 grit finish. The lighting or angles make the blades look dark I guess. However when I do etch blades and springs I leave the oxides on all the internal surfaces. But everything gets a good coat of oil. Hope this makes sense.

makes a lot of sense and that's what i needed to know, thank you very much and again my compliments for those really nice knives, i have always liked your design choices!!!
