My Tibetan long sword by Kumar & Sher is 36.5" and 54 oz, so this "short sword" isn't that much smaller or lighter. And the handle on this one is much nicer!
 
Yippeee!! It's mine! Got the DD a little bit ago. Thanks for confirming how long this short sword is guys. I can't wait to swing it around :)

Now I just gotta prepare myself for a month of eating nothing but fish and rice! Not to say my current khukuri budget allows for much else in my diet. Good thing I got that 15lb bag of rice last time!

I'm pretty sure this will quell my sword-lust until another Falcata comes around, then all bets are off. Oh well, at least I know my own helplessness.
