Palaver - A Proven Hunter/Skinner

SPECS

OAL: 8 1/2”
Blade: 3 3/4” X 1 5/16" wide; Flat Grind; 59RC; 5/32” thick
towards front of blade; tapered tang; hand sanded finish with visible hamon
Blade Steel: 1095 High Carbon Steel, differentially heat treated
Handles: Dyed Maple Burl in natural, aqua greens and teal blues
Accents: Cocobolo and Stainless Steel Spacers
Bolsters: Desert Ironwood
Pins: 416 Stainless Steel
Sheath: Fully tooled sheath in premium 6-7oz leather; for right hand carry;
oiled and left natural with a Super Sheen finish (not yet applied in picture below)

Sheath had not had "Super Sheen" applied when pic was taken, it will have a subtle gloss.

Seriously though, this piece would make a great birthday or Father's Day gift for the hunter in your family. This is a tried and true pattern that is 'outfitter' tested and approved.

That knife is a beauty, Wayne!

For anybody that might be wondering these Palavers are a very comfortable knife in the hand and imminently useful as a hunter and everyday knife.
 
Okay, this one needs a home - preferably one with a hunter in it.
