The Palm IIIxe is the last of the III series with AAA battery operation, B&W screen and 8MB memory. This one is super clean and in perfect working condition. If you want a 12oz note taking rig that will run for a month on a couple batteries, this is a great setup. Works great as an e-reader too--- you can download the Palm Reader for free and there are all kinds of classic books like Treasure Island, Mark Twain's novels, etc. It does all the PDS stuff too, keeping your appointments, addresses, phone numbers, etc and it will sync to Outlook or you can use the Palm Desktop which you can download free from Palm.
