Here is a fun project I just completed
I wanted to make something close to a short machete but with a little more chopping ability. I came up with this little/big blade out of 3/16in thick 5160 with my usual differential heat treat. I slightly convexed the bevels then conventionally sharpened the actual edge. This should give it all the benefits of a convex grind along with the ease of sharpening of a regular edge. I used jade green G10 and stainless tubes and pins for the handle. This is 16 1/2in overall with a 10 7/8in blade. Comes with a Kydex sheath. Price is $375***SOLD*** shipped in the US for this one. I can accept Paypal or USPS MO for payment. Feel free to hit me up with any questions you might have. Thanks!
