Hello all.. i am interested in buying a pantograph for making duplicate patterns and inlay work on folders. Can someone help explain the differences between 2D and 3D? What model is good for my needs? And can they run off of a standard house outlet? I cannot setup a 220v box in my current living location. And what should i look for when buying used? And where is a good place to look? Thanks guys.. i appreciate all the help.

The max motor size I can run off 110v 15 amp circut is 1 Horseppower.

Your house already has 220, you can likely make up an extension cord that plugs into the stove or Dryer outlet.

There was a pristine Deckel here that came out of a university engineering lab, I suspect that new CNC machines when in.

Used machinery dealers, online ads, Ebay...It's just that the Ebay ones are asking top dollar.

My setup is in the garage which is located in a different building,so 220 is not available. I agree the bay is overpriced...

I would like a Deckel GK21 if anyone knows of one in good shape for sale? Or a Gorton 3D model
