Pants with a dedicated knife pocket?

Wow, I just bought 2 pair of True-spec 24-7's. I had to replace my cellular-phone-pocket dockers and they (per my spec) had to be somewhat inconspicuous. Let me tell you though, buy a little small because the waist stretches... Then the cargo pocket cover flaps are diagonally cut, so they don't look like full on BDUs'. Don't buy some on my word though, I had to send the one pair that didn't go back order back to a dealer, so now I am waiting on 2 pair (that haven't been field proven by me). Check em out thogh. Nutnfancy happen to have a review of them, but there were better vids on youtube. Here I'll add one because I have the time today.:

I encourage you guys to add more pics or videos,

Craghoppers Classic Kiwi Trousers. They have a dedicated "whatever" pocket (fits a clipped folder nicely) within the larger cargo pocket near the thigh.

Thanks to all!! Great info...I ordered some Tru-Spec shorts and we'll see how they compare. They look like they have a knife pocket on each side, which I think I may really like. My 3" knife on one side and my 3.5" on the other!

Would you mind the pocket being inside the main pocket? You can sew your pocket together on one side in a straight vertical line that is maybe 2 inches long. This creates a little pouch that you can slide your knife into and it holds it vertical in your pocket so its easy to get to. It's also very easy to do and even a guy can do it with just a needle and thread.

Hopefully my description is good enough though a picture would be much better. Let me know if I need to explain better if it sounds like something someone is interested in.

I wear the 5:11 Taclite Shorts and pants and have no problem carrying a Spydie Military on the right leg. I Hike a lot and never have noticed the knife there. I do carry a small Saddleback wallet in the regular pocket, not annoying at all.

The REI Sahara looks like it has a small pocket in the same place as your original, but with a zipper.

lol, I had time to change the color (while they are on back order). I had bought the brown ones, but here in the desert, I decided to go with the khaki. I'll just have to remember that my hands have a little engine oil on them sometimes, because oil doesn't stain, its all the dirt that gets caught in the oil that makes it visual to the eye.;)

Well, the Tru-Spec 24-7 shorts are awesome! Even better than my original REI shorts. Knife pockets on both sides that fit up to a 4" knife snugly. Top of the pocket is reinforced for abrasion resistance from the clip. These are some really well thought out tactical shorts! They look really good too in khaki! I bought 2 pair so I am set for a couple years at least!

Thanks to all for your help!!!!

I wear the tru-spec 24/7's I really like them lrg. Sebenza in right knife pocket and my 4-sevens quark in the left knife pocket. Works great both are easily accessible.

Sweet! I'll have my XM-18 in the right side and my VECP or Lg Seb on the left!

You're lucky, mine are on back order for the next 2 weeks. How well do you think they well hold to stains, or should I make the order and emergency coyote brown?

This Teflon impregnated cloth seems VERY stain resistant. I inadvertently wiped my greasy oily black fingers on them (after cleaning my BBQ grill) and they cleaned up easily with just a wet dish rag! Pretty sweet...

I'm still waiting on mine. I'll post up some pics when I get them. Now all I need is an EDC flashlight for one of the knife pockets.
