H'day,

Here is a knife that I am almost done with...... need a sheath and a home.

This is a hidden tang damascus medium contrast blade forged from L-6 and 1084. The pattern is a random patter that has some birdseye from the forging. The double quenched blade supports a choil to reach beyond the guard to "Choke-Up" on the blade.

The handle supports a nickel guard and a mosaic pin. The handle is a stabilized blue dyed maple burl.

The measurements are as follows:

Overall: 9 3/4"
Blade thickness: 1/8"
Handle: 4 1/2"
Cutting edge: 43/4

The blade comes with a drop leg sheath with choice of right or left carry. Cost is $150 and includes shipping inside the Cont. USA.

Thanks for looking.......

Daniel Prentice

Papa Smurf indeed :) I like it a lot, although I would have gone without the mosaic pin because you already have a lot of pattern going with the blue burl handles and the damascus.

Great value for money! Some lucky guy / girl is going to be very happy ...

I will even throw in an embroided hat for ya!!!!!!!!! I am having some more made this week......

Thanks... PKT.....

Thanks.....ThreeWorlds..... This is the first blue dyed burl I have done... I am usually a natural wood type of bladesmith..... I wanted to do one with color... and I tend to like the blue one....... especially this burl.... The mosaic pin is a simple design and blends better than a "busy" pin.....

Wow man, that's amazing. Love that handle. BTW if you choke a smurf what color does it turn?

Lagarto

Thanks Ghostguy6 , you want on my notify list for posting... email me....

and Mick57 thanks for the comment... this is a beauty.....

VERY nice work, Daniel and good stretch from your normal (and very good) natural wood knife handles. The handle matched the pattern in the blade very well. In my opinion, this was a steal for $150. :)

I appreciate your input ....... Thank You Very Much!!!!!!!!!11

I almost done this in a teal dyed maple bur..... still might......

will take orders on this style of blade.....
