paper is merciless....ok another gun thread

Well you're using a PCP airgun, so recoil isn't an issue. Even if you were shooting a springer, the 4200 series is generally accepted as being tough enough for magnum springer recoil. I use a 3-12x 3200 and get great results at 12x. 32 is one high power mama. I would try incense and incantations, or stay below 12x. ;)

And you might try some of the airgun forums like:

Some of the forums are British, so expect some cultural differences.

You mean like this:

"Hello British Mates,
Had a tough day today- my best friend was shot in the leg out in the street. He couldn't pull his Ruger Super Redhawk 454 out of his waste band in time and was hit by a couple slugs from a full auto AK-47 The Doctor says he'll be OK- even better, because the titaneum he put inside in lieu of bone is much more bullet resistant.

I use my air rifles to stay in practise for the Street, you know? You can't survive in the US with poor aim. After a couple hundred shots from my air rifles, I'm ready for some serious high tower sniper work, or my newest fad- the Browning 50 Barrett. Really, a sweet weapon. We blow up old autos at 1000 meters in the desert. You know the law of the desert, right? Any vehicle left overnight recieves the kiss of ten thousand bullet holes? 24 hours is old enough for me.

Well, gotta go. My class two license is up for renewal. I have to appear- wouldn't you know it- there's been a few complaints. "
