Lol :D Thanks, yeah I got that to be a user and now I can't bring myself to it lol, need another myself so I can use at least one of them lol

We need a battle grade and combat grade re release lol :-)

Black paper has almost no grain or texture to it as compared to G10 or canvas. My cabs came the exact same way, oil is all it needs. :)
This is dry looking black paper. ;)

I have used Miltec-1 on faded black g10 and it made the g10 look brand new. Does not wash off either. I have not had to retreat at all. I would think it would work just as well on yours.

Looks like it's been through a dishwasher. Use it and love it and the natural oils from your skin will soon get it back to looking slick and jet black.

So.. Bought my first busse a while back, a unused cabs le.
Paid about half of what i see they go for here, so had no hesitation putting it to use! Loving the knife!!

Nice first Busse. I'm still looking for a CABS LE, it's on the short list. The stars/money have not aligned right yet.

Black paper usually looks deep black, please let us know if the cleaning and mineral oil do the trick.

There's a good deal on the exchange right now. I understand if the money is not available now though - it has happened to me more than once.

Thank you everyone!
I will put up some pics when i tried the oil thing..
Now to find out what is this mineral oil u speake of?
Is this like normal cooking-oil?

No, it's usually found at the grocery or pharmacy, for uh, other uses..

I've noticed similar 'discolouration' on paper scales on my user MUK LE. I would say that it happens from being washed on regular basis, rough sponge/brush rough up the surface nd water with detergent kind of bleaches the tips of the rough surface.
Oil will be your best option to darken the scales

Check out ordering you some of that Militec-1 oil. I soaks into the metal so you can wipe it dry and still have protection. I think that is why it does what it does to G10 without washing off. You can get it on Ebay. I don't think Militec will ship outside the US if ordered direct. I use it and Flitz on all my knives and guns and have never had any problem with rust or staining.
That oil job made those scales look great.
