Paper micarta spacers WIP

It came to me in a dream. Black paper micarta spacers whit an of color core. Black pigment in the epoxy when scales and blade is glued, spacer in the middle and... Alakazam 100% seamless integration (in theory (dream theory)). :)

The epoxy is setting now. The hole thing took 12 minutes from opening the epoxy until the slabs was secured in the work bench.

Glade you liked it! :) The epoxy is about 25% sett. 30 minutes of work would not be any problem at all. Seems like I put a little to much emphasis on the speed.
 
The epoxy is 90% sett butt i will leave the micarta in the slabs so that it does not wrap.

One cool thing is that I heard that the plastic used i shopping bags was one of the hardest materials to glue at all. So i clad the slabs whit it. And the exes epoxy on the outside just flakes of. It has not been under pressure but it looks promising.
