. My furnace motor went the other day but the motor still turns under heavy load its not good but a furnace fan drum is way heavier than a buffer or papper wheel for sharpening. I would like to know on the motor you place a small pulley and on the other pulley what size of pulley. pulley size is my concern and how does it work the motor i have is a 1/3 110v 1740rpm single speed can some one show me pic s up close so i can copy to build a duel paper sharpener . thanks kellyw ps ITS -47 BELOW AND I DONT GIVE A F__

you need more than a 1/3 hp motor, at least a 1/2 hp to keep from bogging down. i tried and the only thing it would sharpen was a 1/4" wide blade about 1" long and it struggled with it. all you need is an arbor on the shaft since you can only use one wheel at a time.
when i used to do fundraisers it was handy to have both wheels going for speed but you have to watch your arm around the wheel you're not using.

Kellyw the postd that you made is almost unimnteligable i think that it has been sad bedore but slow down and profread your posts add punctuaton capitals use the return leaving a space between change in thouight makes it clear use spel chek before hit submit tab.

Kelly,
The post you made ( and many of the ones you have posted) is almost impossible to understand.

I think it has been said before, but slow down and proofread your posts.

Add punctuation, capitals, and use the return key.

Leaving a space between changes in thought makes it clearer.

Use spell check before hitting the "submit" tab.
