Paper wheels making better refined edge than EdgePro Apex?

Only from the ones who don't want to put in the time to get past the learning curve.
You have one thing right there is learning curve with edge pro and it's a big one:p
Seems like I'm only hearing about it from you.
You must not read be all the posts.

Not really that bad if one knows how to freehand sharpen then the EP will be a snap to learn as the same basic principles apply to both.

Meh. I've still never achieved the same level of sharpness as I did with the first knife I did. I'm sure its user error and losing a lot of the mobility in my left arm :)

Oh yes, there's a big learning curve. It's not really for idiots and lazy people, you know. :p

As Ankerson says, you have to be willing to put in the time to get past the learning curve.

fixed that for you. ;)

I am reading most posts. There seems to be a few things that people want to clarify but I don't find a lot saying they can't get their knives sharp after a few days on the edge pro. Getting perfect bevels needs some experience though, but getting a knife sharper than they could get them previously, is the general consensus.
