looking to pick up a camo and satin para 2 typed in para 2 on amazon and came up ready to ship in 3-4 weeks. when i went to item description it was listed as paramilitary with part#c81gp which is the regular paramilitary, but when i put it in my cart its listed as para 2. the picture looks like a pm2 with the shorter handle. so is it a pm2 or a regular pm. called cs and they said part number is correct and is a pm2 which is it? c81gp is not the part # for a pm2

I have the same one in my cart right now! I'm doubtful it's the Mili, as it's usually 140 bucks. Plus, it doesn't look like there is a waiting list for the Military, just the Para 2. If you get the Military, score for us!

I had waited 3 months for the black handle and satin blade before giving up. The camo one had 3-5 weeks 2 weeks ago when I ordered. If I get mine before you I'll let you know what I get.

I ordered one from Amazon listed as on backorder...took a little while to come in maybe 10 days...para 2 camo/satin blade....actually it came in before the Military which was ordered at the same time (but from an Amazon affiliate) Nice knife.

i just got off the phone with amazon and after going thru 3 cs people and a call back i was assured that the knife is indeed the para2. he said he made a note to have the part number listed correctly [currently it is not]. so the wait begins i can wait 3-4 weeks for 108.00 shipped compared to 150.00-200.00 on ebay. so yo mama looks like were're golden!

Bought one from them a week ago. I was doubtful they'd get any in but i figured it couldn't hurt. So far nothing.

I called Spyderco, they say they are still fulfilling orders with Amazon. Hopefully we just get closer to the top of the list.

Amazon is a massive retailer, they everything from garden tools to car parts, to everything in between. A dedicated and knowledgeable knife store they are not.

RevDevil, I wanted to buy elsewhere where I knew they have dedicated knife knowledge and stock, but alas my DiscoverCard cash back can be used at Amazon easily. I wish other retailers would do the same.

Off topic, Rev I see your in AZ. We should get together for a BBQ some time. Are you close to Phx?

Well, use the card points then. I mean, a Para2 is a Para2 rightz. :D with a deal like that on a CC, then it makes much more sense.
In Tucson. I go to Phoenix once in a while, have a bit of family there.

UofA Alumni, but don't hate me, I liked ASU better. Tucson was cool though. Maybe you'll join us in the big city one day. :)

I am guilty of being a Wildcat Alumni, it's hot enough as it is here. ;)
But you never know, if the right job opportunity were to present itself, I have no problem hoisting anchor and moving North. I've thought about uprooting the family and moving recently. A story best saved for another thread maybe, or a BBQ. :D
