Para 2 blade scratches.

I have some pretty deep scratches I want to sand / buff out.

I was considering using high grit sandpaper on a small block of wood.. similar to when you see knife makers finishing a blade. I assume this will work but will i ruin the logos on the blade? is there a better way?

Remember that a scratch is from metal removed. To remove the scratch you have to remove the metal around the scratch and blend the rest of the blade in the area to the depth of the scratch. If that involves the logo's, you will need to remove as much as necessary to get a good finish. Good luck with your endeavor.

Thanks. The scratches are away from the logos so i can blend up to them but just remove metal where the scratches are.
