Para 2 CF in CPM S90V

Can you tell me what sharpening system you used to put on the new edge? Nice and scary sharp one you have there :D

As usual Ankerson gets a perfect mirror on even the most of wear resistant stainless steels that we see on production knives. That's a great edge, The Edge Pro 600 tapes plus some Mother's mag polish do wonders. I really like the looks of the Para 2. The handle looks like it will fit my larger sized hand better than the Para 1, and I really like the compression lock. I also like that the blade stock is slightly thinner than the Para 1 as on a blade that length it is plenty thick for good strength but it makes for a better slicer than 4mm blade stock. All of the changes on the Para 2 seem extremely well thought out and pretty much take away most of the criticisms I had of the Para 1, at least in pictures. I'll find out for myself how I like the Para 2 when I get the G-10/20CP version after it is produced, and I'm hoping that day is soon.

Did ya have fun with that one;)?
Any approximations on how long you spent with that one knife?

It didn't take that long, maybe 45 mins max, once the edge was set it was nothing to finish it up, my 120 grit silcone carbide stone ate it for breakfast.

M4 was much worse to work with than S90V.

Huh:eek:. I took it to my Work Sharp, though I still see some factory lines on the edge. Also doesn't seem as mirror polished as my other knives. Though I'll be happy to take another shot at it in about 10 hours when I wake up:D.

I am faster than most too I guess because of the way I do it, but it wasn't bad. :)
