Haha absolutely nothing! I love it! "Disappointing" is a little too strong of a word when I really meant "I expected something different knowing it wasn't going to be." It's just me :)
 
The photos look good, can't wait to get mine and use the heck out of it. :)
 
hope it won't be limited to 2 sellers. the buy button on KC itches, but i still hope it will be available at a store with cheaper EU shipping.
 
I think he may have been hoping for the twill weave, like on the sage or gayle bradley. But this ones decent too, it keeps in theme with the cf millie and cf manix

I have a pre-order in with a dealer who prices things very well and that price is within about $5 - this thing is a "sold out" pre-order most places...if it really itches, I wouldn't wait to long to scratch the itch. :) It is a lot of cash, but S90V and carbon fiber never come cheap.
 
Sweet blade! I'd love to have one of those. But I'm sure I'll still be happy with my regular Para 2 whenever they get back in stock :D
 
If this carbon fiber is more akin to the Stretch CF than the Gayle Bradley CF, thats a good thing in my book. But I know that opinions differ on this.
 
Looks great. Much earlier release than I anticipated. I hope the gray G10 version is coming along faster as well.

That's the one I have preordered!

yes the price is right but shipping is free for you, 36 for me. KSF is 12 usd for exemple. but i doubt they get some...

Should be more akin to the CF used on the Military knives (S90V, BG42, S30V).

Sal has mentioned that they are moving into a sort of "branding," a uniform look, for some of their knives. This is why the blue Stretch is going away and coming back in BRG. So, it makes sense that the S90V Para would have the same peel-ply CF that the Military and Manix 2 had. Hopefully, there will be more in that vein! :thumbup:
 
Wow, I was going to be very happy when my regular Para 2 comes in the mail, but now I'll be wishing it was one of these instead :D

Is the spine still nice and crisp to strike a ferro rod like the orignal Paramilitary?
 
Well, after a trip to the bank and to the Factory I can report that everything I've read about the s90v and CF version is a little shy of the mark. Great grippy carbon fiber in an interesting pattern. New pivot bushing system is a joy and is, for me, better than the old style. I thought the g10 Para2 was light, but this is ridiculous.

Truly special.
