For sale is a Para 2 with Maxamet light gray scales that has been transplanted with a custom blade in S125V at 64 HRC and double tempered. The reblade is crafted by Vlad Dzhola from Ukraine and features his sterling silver inlay with "VD" initials.
The blade is about 0.25 inch longer than stock blade and purposefully made without jimpings, without a choil to maximize cutting edge (cutting edge is longer that one of a stock Military) and a divot instead of spyderhole for more lateral strength. Thickness behind the edge is about half of what's on stock Para 2 blade. Blade is sterile and has sterling silver inlay with bladesmith initials as stated above. Lockup is rock solid, detent works perfect, blade is perfectly centered. Attached is a picture of this specific blade at its birth (highlighted).
