Para 2, I was missing out.

Snigel,I'm just saying that I feel the military's days as a liner lock, one based on a decades old design, are numbered and an improvement is warranted. I haven't read of a failure with the P2 yet but the military has several.

Again,I believe the Para 2 is definitely a better and stronger knife.

Imo, the compression lock (at least the one on the P2) is simply amazing. I love the way I can just effortlessly and gently drop the knife open without flicking it or putting any undue stress on the lock mechanism. Plus it's very strong and secure.

I like the liner lock on the Millie too, but vastly prefer the compression lock and also the full length nested skeletonized liners on the P2. It's just a more modern design that has been improved in every way. That said, I still like the Millie a lot, but the P2 has become my favorite.

I betcha with the success of the Para 2, there'll be a military 2 with a comp lock coming in the next year or two. At least that's the dream. :)
