Para 2 vs. Edura vs. delica

Delica is the best for edc. Pm2 has to be one of the greatest all around knives ever. The endura is a great knife but it's pretty much fixed blade size for me which is why I traded mine out.

My Delicas end up in my pocket more than anything else with the exception of my SAKs. I don't carry my Endura that often, it lives in my shop as my work blade. I'm also currently debating either a PM2 or a Military for the sole purpose of customizing it with some nice scales. If I had to pick one to do almost everything, I'm with Surfingringo, the Delica would be it. If it were a fighter I'd describe it as one that punches well above its weight class.

It would be an easy choice for me, as I absolutely despise FRN handles. I've owned, and quickly sold, exactly one FRN Spyderco in almost 20 years of quality knife buying. I understand that's it's very strong, but the stuff just looks and feels cheap and flimsy to me.

I would say Delica first, but if you get it first you might not buy the others :) It's that good.

The PM2 is great in it's own right, but it feels much bigger in the hand than the Delica. Depends on what you're doing daily, but for me it's too much knife for EDC.

I bought an Endura and sold it immediately. It's a huge blade. If I'm getting a knife that big I'd rather go all out and get a Military.

That's why it's so good for a working knife!

For me the FRN knives are perfect for light clothing or to complement a much dressier knife, like a Sage maybe.

I really like FRN, at least in the Seki and Golden Spydercos that I am familiar with. Lightweight, strong, colorful yes, but also there is something unpretentious and utilitarian about it that appeals to me.

I started with the delica and it's been great. The PM2 is also very nice but it's a little big for my preference. I don't have an endure but I've held them and they are also very nice. The size is just a little big for me.

I may give the waved Endura a try and see if I find it any more appealing now.
