that's where i pre-ordered as well....fingers crossed for shipping today.
I noticed when I ordered mine there was the number 11 next to the model number then after I ordered the number was 10, and this morning there isn't even an ad for the knife on the site. So, my guess would be that we are good to go and that they sold what was available after the pre-order last night. At least that's the way it worked the last time I ordered from Jim.
Hey Nick, Thought I would take a minute and let you know yours and everyone's else's Para 2 Digi Cam who ordered from us will ship today. I am in the middle of doing the shipping as we speak. I still have a few people to contact that didnt order off the site but put in pre orders and we have theirs here as well its just a matter of contacting them. You will probably not receive your tracking numbers until late this afternoon but I will get them to everyone today!!

just got my first para2 in the mail. Its alot bigger than i thought it would be. Its smooth to open but ive got a sticky lock, looks like im gunna hafta open it a few hundred times today

Mine has a bit of a sticky lock too. Seems like I've got to put a bit of pressure before it "clicks" and then closes. Fingers are a bit sore, but I love it. Let me know how it goes with the lock.
Received mine from Howes yesterday. Out of the 3 Para 2s I've had,,, this one is the best. Perfect blade centering, not a hint of stickiness from the lock. Super smooth blade opening and no blade play.
The regular g10 that I've been carrying for 2 weeks has a few issues. The blade will not swing freely at all. If I loosen up the pivot at all I get blade play. Lock is sticky but I thought it was pretty good till I got the digicam.

Mine got here yesterday. I seriously think Spyderco may have made the perfect knife here, and I don't say that lightly. I've owned dozens of knives, many more expensive than the para 2, but never have I had one that I wouldn't change a thing on.

Mine came in. All I can say is wow. At first i was like "wtf" on the compression lock. Then i played with it some more, it's like my new best friend. The lock is just a tad sticky, but i like to open/close my knife all day anyways so i'll work it out. Either way I absolutely love the size of the para. This will not be my last para.
