Para 3 sweet spot troubles..

Got it last week - it was pretty smooth and had a rock solid lock up. After a few days I noticed some blade play. So I busted out the t-10 and started to adjust. No wobble is too tight to deploy easily and nice deployment had wobble. I finally found a middle ground, but I'm not completely satisfied. (Got the play out, but it's just a bit too stiff to enjoy)..
Anybody have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.

Both the para 3 and pm2 I've had seemed pretty dry when I received them. I added a little oil to the washers, actuated the pivot a dozen times or so, and it freed it up considerably. In my experience, washer pivots like a little lube, especially the bronze washers.

Thanks, Bike, but I tried that. Think it's as simple as keep the pivot tightness where it is and hope it breaks in?

^^^^^ Yup! Get it to the point it's a bit tight and flick the snot out of it.
Had that with 2 of my Para 2s and they broke in perfectly!

I would tighten it to where its a little stiff. Use it and open and close it for a week. Let it break in that way. Then adjust it

just adding one more that thinks it needs broken in if you've done the rest. My PM2 keeps getting smoother and smoother so I'm staring to warm up to the compression lock a lot more now. I think I adjusted mine stiff as Italian mentioned and it wore in well like that and didn't exhibit any blade play even once it got to a near free-fall level of resistance.
