hey guys this is kind of OT

but i'm going to be headed to ashokan of course. and i have a great local source for any type of rope and cord from tiny little thin stuff to 4" manilla, natural help to spectra core

rwrope.com call them and ask for ray. tell him i sent you. don't go by the web site. it needs work

let me know if anyone needs anything i'll do the delivery up there for you, save on shipping

they sell a bag full of short pieces of paracord (anywhere from like 5 feet to 49 feet long) all bunched up in little bundles, the bag weighs 6LBS so they figure it's approximately 600 feet or so. and it works out really cheap.

can't remeber the price but i'm sure one of the guys will chime in and remind me.

they carry the good ol 1" manilla rope for cutting also.

It depends on the bag. Each one in the large barrel had a different mix. I finally narrowed it down to two bags but I can't remember what they cost. I think it was something like $16 or $12 each.

hey guys,

i think the assortments go for about 15 bucks for the short pieces.

i stand corrected. they are short pieces from 30 feet to 90 feet long i guess.

i'm heading there tomorrow afternoon, so if anyone needs anything brought up to them order it tomorrow let Ray know it's going with me, let me know and i'll make sure i pick up the bag with your name on it and bring it up.

they take credit cards so stock up:D

1" rope for cutting plenty of para cord all the goods call and ask em if you're not sure. they carry any type of rope you could ever need.

my brother in law came up with the idea of spending money on natural hemp cordage for his wife's crafts, keep her from getting made at him for spending 50 bucks on rope each time he goes.

thanks again guys glad i could help you all
