Just thought I would share that would the group ;-)

Very nice! I really do like the G10 scales. What do you think of the D2 steel? I's heard to keep it away from acidic liquids like tomato juice as it can stain the steel....or is this going to be a safe queen and it doesn't matter anyway?

I have the D2 Millie and the combo of green G-10 and CPM D2 are hard to beat.

I've had mine since the first of the year and have had no problems with the steel discoloring. I've cut things like...Strawberries, Apples, Limes and a Butternut Squash. I clean and wipe the blade down right away regardless, I also isopropyl and lube the blade when cutting anything with an adhesive residue.

One thing...after wiping down the D2 with a Lysol wipe, that left the beginnings of discoloration...Flitz took care of the problem.

I clean most of my EDC's with Lysol wipes.. Do you think it was the Lysol wipe, or the moisture in it??

Probably the moisture in it, maybe I didn't get it all off the knife. Only happened with the Lysol wipes not the Clorox ones.

Nice! The more and more I look at that knife the more appealing it becomes. Can't convince myself to pull the trigger though.

You should fondle one.. I couldn't believe it wasn't a custom.. The fit, finish and lockup was superb for a production piece..

When I buy knives, I always say to myself I am going to use them. But after I get them and admire their beauty (esp >$100 knives) I find myself shining them, admiring them, and like I did here - taking pics of them and posting them on the forum...I am so weak ;)
