Ok, so I love the para military. I just got a 2nd one and its in my pocket right now. The thing is, both of my paras addmitadly not brand new production, have lots of sharp bits and a clip that seems drawn to everything around it. I understand that these are hard use folders but are the latest versions any smoother, more radiused, less pointy where they aren't supposed to be?
Specifically when the knnife is folded in my pocket the rear corner of the blade back is sharp and usually the first thing my hand comes in contact with. The clip is big and square and has sharp edges.
I think this blade is the best, great handle, great blade, great size, great lock... I just wish it wasn't so hard on my hands and my clothes and the various things I accidentally brush up against, I swear there is a magnet in the clip that draws nasty metal to contact it....
How about a para military cc (comfortable carry) with the edges radiused and a lower profiel, wire?, pocket cli. Oh and while we're at it, left right configurable.

my 2cents on how to make an awesome knife even more useful.

I think that most would agree with you. Everything you've stated has been hashed and rehashed many times over. I'm sure Spyderco realizes these issues. Hopefully they can be resolved in an updated version. The Para is already a great value as is, and with some subtle changes would be hard to beat IMO.

Have you tried taking a small stone to the sharp edges that you are finding bothersome? Just stay clear of any lock up areas. Many handles on knives I have found have sharp inside edges. Sometimes dragging a razor over this area will remove the sharp edge. A little sandpaper also works on G10. There are other ways but these things most people have handy. There is no reason IMO to have these issues with this knife. Good luck with it.
