Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a new Para-military CPMD2 for a great price. I love this knife and i was wondering what lube do you use to keep it rust free? :):):D I plan on using it on food and such so i was wondering if their are any recommendations.

Thanks

You have to go with Mineral Oil if you plan on using it around food. The fact is, Mineral Oil works fantastic as a lube too.

Here is a link to the last conversation about Mineral Oil:

Nice knife BTW!

If you're using it around food why not just get the S30V version?

Otherwise, I like a good Tuf-Cloth rubdown.

Thanks everyone for the help.

I have the manix in s30v and wanted a new knife, i found the para d2 for a good price so i picked on up.

I really like my Millie in CPM D2, and have found no need to treat it any different than any of my other Spydercos to keep it rust free. Any time I get a blade wet I wipe it down and I don't run in to problems. CPM D2 is even more rust resistant than regular D2, which barely falls below the stainless label by virtue of Chromium value anyway (I think it is within 1/2 percent of being stainless).
