Specifically I need to see the blade but all is good.

The question put to me is, can the Para Military blade be converted into a typical frame lock like the one I just did on the Military? This gentleman does not belong to any forums but spoke with me on the phone. I told him I'd see what I can find out.

If someone has a Para Military apart can you show me the break down pics please? Now I'm not asking all you guys to take your knife apart. Surely someone already has a pic of this or has seen it maybe. Thats what I'm hoping anyway. I'll post this over on the Spyderco forum also.

Much appreciated thanks.

The only way to do it would be ala ATR. The locking surface of the blade is on the back side of the tang. The only way to convert to conventional framelock would involve regrinding the tang of the blade. I don't know if you would want to try that, but I know I wouldn't.

Zvir thank you. You have answered the question. That is just what I needed.

Strange... the stop pin in my Para has a flat side...

Why could this be?
