Para-Military2 - Clarification/Announcement

Just wanted to clarify something that was recently alluded to on our site forum regarding future versions of the Para-Military2.

It was mentioned that there might be a Para-Military2 coming with Carbon Fiber and CTS-20CP steel from Carpenter. Little mix-up there. So, here's the scoop!

The C81CFP2 is a Para-Military2 with Peel Ply Carbon Fiber scales and CPM-S90V (Crucible Steel). The C81CFP2 is targeted for release by the end of this year.

The C81GGY20CP2 is a Para-Military2 with Gray G-10 scales and CTS-20CP (Carpenter's equivalent to S90V). The C81GGY20CP2 will be a 2011 release.

Both of these are slated to be Sprint Runs.

And no (I'll beat ya'll to asking), I don't have any more detailed ETA info. ;)

Info straight from the Taz's mouth is much better than rumors and guesswork, so thanks for the update.

Now put a black blade and digicam before those other Sprints, and that will be even more groovy. :)
 
Hi Kristi, as long as we're talking Para 2 variations, any chance of an all-black Para 2 this year or next?
 
OK count me in. Picked up the digi para with black blade today. These two would make a nice addition to the set. Have the original and D2 versions.
 
I am going to hold out for the Carpenter steel...or perhaps both? Either way, I can't resist a PM2.
 
Grey G10 and CTS-20CP, that's the one I want. Now make that a framelock, and I buy 2.
 
Thanks for the infos Kristi. Any hint regarding blade configurations? Plain, serrated, combo edged?
